This dynamic, multimedia event will bring together special guests from media, business, entertainment, government, religion, and communications who have committed to inspire one million men to make one million concrete, actionable promises to build a safer world for women and girls.
Speakers and special guests include:
- Michael Bolton: multiple Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and activist
- Michael Rawlings: Mayor of Dallas, TX and leader of new city initiative calling on men to end domestic violence
- Don McPherson: former NFL player and college Hall-of-Famer and leader on engaging men to challenge violence against women
- Michael Skolnik: Award winning filmmaker and producer; Political Director to Russell Simmons and co-president, Global Grind
- Dean Obedaillah: Comedian and co-founder of the New York Arab-American Comedy Festival
- Abigail Disney: Philanthropist and award-winning filmmaker of films including Pray the Devil Back to Hell and the PBS series Women, War & Peace
- Dean Peacock: Executive Director of Sonke Gender Justice, South Africa
Parallel events will take place in Rio, Delhi, Johannesburg and other cities around the world, linked by a coordinated and potent social media storm.
